Yellow6: for the first and last has finally been announced after so much planning behind the scenes. The album comes on limited white vinyl as well as very limited CD. Jon Attwood, the mastermind behind the two plus decade project, has produced a deeply orchestrated album that showcases all his strengths at their finest. Seven tracks, all singles in their own right, the album holds together beautifully and, lest I talk it up too much, is one of Attwood‘s masterpieces. Not only does Attwood mix in his incredible guitar work, but the Slow Core and Post Rock feel in some of these tracks really shines here.

Limited to 200 White vinyl as well as a very short run of CDs, there isn’t a lot of physical copies to go around. Yellow6: for the first and last is a phenomenal release and we here at Somewherecold Records are incredibly proud to be a part of it.
