Out today is Fritz Pape‘s newest album My Guitar at Homes. This is the second release for Fritz Pape on Somewherecold Records, and we are honored to have such a wonderful release on the label. Ever the synth aficionado, Pape turns to guitar here and dazzles the listener. Reflective textures and glassy sonic moments are juxtaposed to frantic and quick moving sonic psychosis. Those stuttering moments lay over visions of endless adventure and, at times, a childlike wonder. The mystic fog of innocence hangs over, as Pape invites the listener into a lovely abstract world. As avid fans of the Pape‘s, we can honestly say that My Guitar at Homes is one of our favorite releases from this Cincinnati artist.
