Your Gaze is the shoegaze/post-punk project of Paul Rhodes. Coming from a background playing with various bands from punk sub-genres, Rhodes started playing solo music in 2012. At first it began very synthesizer driven but after picking up a guitar and an absurd amount of guitar effect pedals, Your Gaze was finally born.

Mind Palace Technique is the newest full length from Your Gaze. This is Rhodes‘ second release on the Somewherecold Records. He has also released a collaboration with The Corrupting Sea on Somewherecold Records under the moniker Light Humidity.

The newest album delves into despair and moments of joy. Deep seated vocals bring out Rhodes‘ goth and post-punk influences, swirls of guitars give the tracks a touch of shoegaze, while synths fill out the tracks bringing a brilliant nostalgia to it all.

Currently based in Nashville, TN, the noise rock of Your Gaze transcends metaphors through beautiful mother nature that anyone can relate too through their personal daily strife. Mind Palace Technique will be released on limited CD on August 13th as well as in digital formats.
