While Somewherecold Records has made a name for itself through the curating of great ambient artists, the label has yet to have a dark ambient artist in the mix. That changes today with Ander’s Tulpa EP. Hailing from Poland, Ander masterfully composes uneasy soundscapes that could easily be the soundtrack to a horror movie. Tulpa is three tracks released as a digital download only release. It has a relentless vibe that plays on the darkness of the listener’s psyche. Both creating an uneasy atmosphere and engaging compositions, the void in the tracks sit alongside disturbing noises and imaginative sonic frameworks. Give the EP a listen and support it!
