In 2018, Highspire released their first track in a very long time on a compilation used to raised money for the Southern Poverty Law Center. The track has recently received a video treatment and we here at Somewherecold Records are excited to share it with you all.
“A group of international artists have come together and donated original tracks (Lazy Legs is the only exception) in support of the Southern Poverty Law Center. “The SPLC is dedicated to fighting hate and bigotry and to seeking justice for the most vulnerable members of our society. Using litigation, education, and other forms of advocacy, the SPLC works toward the day when the ideals of equal justice and equal opportunity will be a reality.” They provide legal assistance to the oppressed, compile data on hate groups in the U.S.A., and education both law enforcement and the public on these groups. You can further look at their organization here: www.splcenter.org/about”
Thanks to EJ Hagen for donating this new track to the comp.
