Jostein Dahl Gjelsvik is the mastermind behind the Norwegian electro-power of Pjusk. An often collaborative project, Gjelsvik adopts a new approach to his new instrumental album Sentrifuge using modular systems. This move demonstrates not only Gjelsvik‘s ability to work expertly with the new approach, but also demonstrates his masterful handle on electronic composition.

As a mainstay of the electronic scene, Pjusk joins Somewherecold Records for the first time after releasing a number of incredibly artistic and beautiful albums and EP’s since 2007. On Sentrifuge, Gjelsvik utilizes a more explorative and improvised stream of thought style here than on previous releases. The result is glorious and the sonic journey, perhaps, one of the best to begin 2022.
