Today, The Corrupting Sea: Soul Mate has finally been released. Dedicated to Jason Lamoreaux‘s (The Corrupting Sea) partner, the album was a labor of love. It was originally recorded for CD and was simply a 40 minute track, but, after a successful Kickstarter campaign, the album was formatted for vinyl. The mastering work was deftly done by Orange Crate Art. The cassette is a dual cassette release with the A and B sides mirroring the vinyl, side C containing remixes of Soul Mate from various artists, and the D side is the I Love You Over the Moon EP which had never had a physical release.

The Corrupting Sea‘s 12th album and third this year, Lamoreaux has finally gotten one of his albums cut on vinyl and it’s all due to fans, friends, and family! Eternally grateful!
