I Could Live in Hope: PSA, Not OK Streaming at The Big Takeover and Out Later Today!

Out today is an incredible EP that was a no brainer for Somewherecold Records to release. Aptly released on election week here in the U.S.A., this is one of the rarer shoegaze oriented set of tracks that are explicitly political. The Big Takeover has agreed to premiere the EP in streaming form for you all to hear and then it will be released later in the day. If you love slowcore or shoegaze music, this EP is definitely for you. It’s the product of a duo made up of members of Tape Deck Mountain and The Cult of Lip. I Could Live in Hope both prickles and blisters alongside atmospheric guitars, reflecting the state of things in the U.S.

The Big Takeover has been a great supporter of Somewherecold and today is no different. Thank you so much for giving I Could Live in Hope the visibility they deserve. Again, the EP will officially be released later in the day so all you who have order can have the digital tracks. Get those limited CD copies!
