An accidental meditation on life during Covid and the importance of places to have history in, From My Guitar at Homes is comprised of guitar manipulations recorded in two homes: at a home on Kelly’s Island over the past few summers, and at Pape‘s own home over the past few months. A clear dichotomy is presented between long pieces meticulously sculpted by a lake breeze and short, skittish loops manifested as the world crumbles outside. In both scenarios, the music trickles out gently and lovingly from Pape‘s original arm extension, a guitar and a looper.

Created from drastically different comforts of home, From Guitar at Homes is meant to give you joy wherever you are.
