Airships on the Water

Somewherecold Records is proud to present the second single from Airships on the Water: Folded into Bells. The single is entitled “Warming Bells” and opens the album with gorgeous organ, splashes of cymbals, a driving bass-line, and just an all around gorgeous composition. It sets up what is an amazing album, full of these glorious moments that few post-rock bands can exude. Emotive and cinematic, “Warming Bells” beats into the air like a personal soundtrack that forever etches itself into your consciousness. The piano is lucid, the transitions masterful, and mix of tonality use of dynamics exquisite. I can’t say enough about this album but, I guess, you have to hear it for yourself.
