The 10th album for The Corrupting Sea, “The House of Healing Light“‘, is now out! You can stream the album at the bandcamp page or on various streaming services. This 10th album is dedicated to Dr. Light who has saved the life of Jason Lamoreaux, the person behind The Corrupting Sea. Struggling with PTSD, depression, social anxiety disorder, and sensory issues, Jason has been under the care of Dr. Light who has been a kind and caring doctor like no other he has encountered. You can read a commentary on the album at Last Day Deaf here: http://lastdaydeaf.com/exclusive-album-premiere-the-corrupting-sea-the-healing-house-of-light-out-february-6th-via-somewherecold-records/
Further, I would like to thank Surface Noise for hosting the record release party or this album along with Fritz Pape, who played a set as well.
I’m also dedicating a few albums coming up to my psychological issues because we must talk about these things in the open. This is my first effort in that quest. People with psychological problems are not alone, they aren’t weird or scary, they are just hurt and need help and I hope my music can, in small part, be a part of that process.
