For those of you in love with avant garde, ambient, and experimental genres, I highly recommend picking up a copy of this album because it truly sits among the greats. Playing with dynamics, exploratory moods, slips of sound color, exquisite and subtle melodic composition, open spaces, Kona is an utter joy to listen to. The first time I had the honor of receiving the files for this album from John Lane, I was just blown away. The album is expertly mixed and mastered by Toby Crate Art and the layout of the cd packaging was masterfully put together by Zylophonica. This is one of those albums that evokes dream states, wonder, and overall inner-gazing. I highly recommend it and, I believe, this is one of the best ambient/experimental albums of 2019.
