We here at Somewherecold have been a fan of The Age of Colored Lizards since they burst on the scene with their 2016 single “It’s All Gone”. Their JAMC, 60’s pop styling is dreamy, hazey, and everything one wants from great distorted pop tracks. Well, they are back with a new video for “If You Want Me Back”, which made me laugh at times, cringe (in a good way) at others, with a mishmash of epic sports failures and athletic angry outbursts. It fits the lyrics of the song perfectly. Always brilliant, The Age of Colored Lizards deliver a great video for another great track!
