Hailing from Oslo, Norway, The Age of Colored Lizards brings a shoegaze-laden track as their fourth single. They came out with their debut single in August 2016 and quickly caught my attention with their brand of noise pop. Later this year, the band will release an EP on Sotron Records entitled Another Day. “Pale White Sun” evinces all the properties of a dreamy pop song laden with fuzzy guitars and reverb-drenched vocals. The song structure is solid and catchy which bodes will for fuller releases. For me, “Pale White Sun” evokes warm days walking on the beach in Southern California with breezes whipping about. Perhaps this Northern European band is dreaming of the same. With this fourth track hitting Bandcamp, I can’t wait to hear more and look forward to their first EP
