“Draper Point” is the lead off single from Conclusions, the latest album from LA based musician autodealer. While it serves as the album closer, it seems the most fitting track to promote the album, given the subject matter. While the album was written in real time over the course of ten days while autodealer’s father was at home in hospice, the last track was completed after his passing. Both autodealer and his dad enjoyed rather dark senses of humor, and the tracks title is derived directly from that.

In short, the Draper Point is the amount of heat that needs to be applied to an object before it begins emitting its own light. It provided comfort to think that the last thing that happened to his father was to literally become light, as he was cremated. Relatively dark humor, I suppose. The single features a number of remixes exclusive to the EP done by The Corrupting Sea, A Journey of Giraffes, Bobbly McElver, and Jeremy Bastard along with a video assembled by autodealer. Both the single and the full length will be released on Somewherecold Records.
