City of Dawn has finally come on board with Somewherecold Records after the collaboration with The Corrupting Sea in 2021. As the Universe, So the Soul comes out on April 15 in a deluxe edition that will come with a standard version of the album in digipak, a metal print with poem and artwork, a unique Polaroid in each box, a City of Dawn sticker, Somewherecold Records Guitar Pick, and a Record Label Sticker. In terms of City of Dawn‘s own take on his music, he states:

“City Of Dawn is a ambient project of Damien Duque from McAllen, TX. He creates Immersive, atmospheric, melodic, and dreamy soundscapes.

Aside from his mind-opening message about the effects of Ambient Music, his art also advocates for people within the Autism spectrum. For Damien, his music is a way of dealing occasional Anxiety attacks, Depression and Insomnia. Throughout it he shares his experience as a person with Asperger’s Syndrome (High-Functioning Autism)
