This Friday, January 26th, the fourth full-length from The Corrupting Sea (Jason Lamoreaux) is being released. The album is entitled Somnambulate and to celebrate its imminent release, The Corrupting Sea is releasing the video for “Awake”. It’s the longest track on the album and its closer. Long and spacious, the track is meant to be hypnotic and trance-like in its experience. Over 11 minutes in drones and ambient textures, the images are abstractions of images found by Jason Lamoreaux himself. Four in total, the video takes the viewer on a journey through various images as the music moves the listener forward. Somnambulate will be released this Friday.
